๐Ÿฐ EASTER ๐Ÿฐ

3.30.2016

Our Easter weekend was def done right!  I am so happy what beautiful opportunities we have as a family to learn, create and be happy faces to those around us!  My boys including my hubby are always finding ways to be creative, create unity and just be amazing!  I can't wait to explore the Arches National park with them in a couple weeks since this past weekend was obvs amazing!

Hello Easter bunny! ๐Ÿฐ
These 3 are just perfection! ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป
Coloring Easter eggs (Easter eve)
Oh how colorful!
Easter bunny brought so much for outside including chalk!  One of their faves!
All matching bow ties and grey vests for Easter this morning but just couldn't get a very good pic!  Still good enough to print one day to look back on!
Linky begging big brother to give him a yummy mint on the way to church!  Wink wink! He says!!!  ๐Ÿ˜˜

                       ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿฃ๐Ÿ’™
Then it was off to grandmas house (old stomping grounds) for our Easter egg hunt!  So happy to gather with family!
Kathryn, Andy, Eve, Quinn, grandma, Marlo, Anna, Pepper, Sid and Melissa!
Although the boys didn't have a huge competition for the hunt this year they were still determined and very into sharing!  We were able to have heaping baskets full of chocolate, candy and even cash!

Oh to remember a hilarious moment between auntie Pepper and grandma Glenda!  This picture will forever be a funny memory for me...and you will never know why!  lol

Oh and adorable Brax was a pro on Uncle Sid's hover board!  Looking a little proud!  My oldest little totally rocked it!  He did the "Whip, Nae Nae", showed off dancing and was def swag as always!

❤️

I on the other hand was not so keen on the idea!  Uncle Andy was nice enough to take pics of my epic fail!
So was not going to try until my hubby said, "Anna did it!"  So of course I had to then try it!
Oh so tall and handsome man of mine!  He showed us how to bend, do the fancy rope trick and a couple other mimes I didn't even know existed!  We were all laughing clearly!!!
...they said no hands!

So the day after Easter looked like this...
Mommy a little under the weather and still is unfortunately!  But Storm was quick to tell me not to worry he would keep me warm!  Out he comes with his special Thomas Blanket!

                       •Family

Although we weren't able to see all of our family this special holiday we miss all of you so much!  So grateful to have such an eventful life which I wouldn't have without my parents unselfishness to raise such wonderful children.  Even though the circumstances haven't always been positive or maybe even the easiest I am so happy to have a mother and a father who love me.  Here on earth and in heaven up above!  A loving step mom who is always constantly showing me that (I was wrong in the beginning), a wonderful mother in law who is a rock day In and day out and such a special spirit of my father in law truly watching over my boys and I!
Grammie Laura was so nice to send us truly a special message!  The scripture egg hunt was a wonderful thing to end the weekend with!  The boys were so eager to know what happened to our wonderful and beloved brother Jesus Christ!
I am so grateful to others who are reminding us of what we really need to remember!  As parents we are so easily wrapped up in Easter egg hunts, festive events and the Easter bunny bringing wonderful baskets...we quickly forget to remind our families, children and even ourselves of what did, still does and forever should truly matter on Easter.
"The Resurrection" a scripture I loved from this awesome reminder was:

Mark 15:33-34, 37-39 & Matthew 27:51
"And when the sixth hour has come, there was a darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour.  And at the ninth hour, Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying...My God, my god, why has thou forsaken me?...and Jesus cried with a loud voice, and gave up the ghost.  And the veil of the temple was rent in two son front he top to the bottom...and then earth did quake, and the rocks rent.  And when the centurion, which stood over against him, saw that he so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this man was the son of God."

He was so happy to do this activity and we will for sure always do it every Easter now!  How couldn't we keep up the tradition?  It is always good to be open to new traditions as a family!  I know it will help us us grow closer and upward to thee! Thank you Grammie!!!

"Love is a crazy and amazing thing that we need to remember is all around us at all times!  Even if at times we feel down, sad or just any other day...just know we are surrounded by those we love, whether in spirit or in life!"
