I am just in awe...

6.20.2015

We just had an amazing time at draper park tonight.  The sunset totally topped it off!  I noticed it while we were just hanging around the campfire roasting marshmallows as a family!  I then turned to my biggest little and asked him to  hurry and snap a pic for mommy on top of the hill...and this is the breathtaking result!

Mothers are needed!

5.12.2015

I love this picture of my mother and I.  I cant believe at my age now, that is how old she is in this picture.  She looks so happy and so elegantly beautiful.  This Mothers Day was for some reason tough for me.  I wasn't exactly looking forward to it and I now realize why.  I am now a mother of 3 amazing boys and a wife to an outstanding man.  There are days that I feel inadequate as a mother, a wife and even a daughter.
Mothers Day is always going to be a good day to celebrate mothers of all kinds.  Adoptive mothers, mothers who have been introduced through maybe a second marriage as a step mother, grandmothers, surrogates, aunts who adore their nieces and nephews, soon to be mothers and even those who may have lost their children in one way or another.
I truly feel like as I am getting older I understand all the excitement mixed with heartache that my mother, step mother and mother in law have gone through (and still are going through).  It isn't easy being a mother but it is also the best thing in the whole wide world.
Mothers are needed to nurture everyday whether the child realizes it or not.  They are needed even when you yourself becomes a mother, you still need your mother.  Never will there be a time, place or world that wont need mothers because they are truly the best part of living.  Whether it be a good day or even maybe a bad one you still have those parts of everyday where you see the world through your children and remember that you yourself use to be in need of a mothers everyday love.
You will never grow out of needing your mothers love.  Its just nothing that can even come close.  I am so grateful for being a mother and to have such a supportive husband that understands that I only want to be a "MOTHER."

I want to DECORATE for VALENTINE'S!!!

1.13.2015

I am SOOOOOOOOO excited to decorate for Valentines Day!  Not that I have a house big enough to really hold anymore of my trademark decor skills (patent pending)...but, it just seems like so much fun making everything bright and cheerful!  I want to make valentines, put up homemade paper flag banners and bake cookies!  I also love how happy everyone gets to receive a Valentine or even a hug around this fun and BEAUTIFUL holiday!  BRING ON THE CHOCOLATE!!!  (See's Candies that is!)

I am THANKFUL

1.10.2015

I have to say it feels good to know that I have the security of my family all of the time.  Even though I am constantly tired from running around with my 3 boys I wouldn't change it for the world!
I have a husband who is ALWAYS making sure I have what his family needs to be happy no matter what he has to do and it AMAZES me!  I don't know any other FLYer husband or father who works all day and then comes home to 3 very welcoming boys (whom are very sick of their mommy might I add) rush to see daddy and instantly need to be held, played with and just to have daddy make them laugh!  They are always so happy to see daddy when he gets home and it makes me feel so blessed.  Never would I ever have thought to feel so lucky to be 27! A mom of 3 beautiful, way to smart for their own good, funny and exciting boys!  A wife to the most giving and patient man EVER!  A Young Women's leader to the most amazing girls anyone could ever meet!  I promise I would totally go up to bat for them at any time!  They are beautiful, amazing, strong and just perfect!
I am so happy!  The new year has just made me realized that I am grateful for everything!  Thank you world.

 * I am also so grateful for my mother.  She is so strong and always there for all of her children, friends and family regardless if it is ever reciprocated.  Thank you MOM! *
